We have two
places of worship within the Parish.
St
Barnabas was dedicated in 1996,
and is
a beautiful building as was the
Victorian church destroyed by
fire in December 1992. We
enjoy a church with a spiritually uplifting quality
and a flexible space for worship.
Christ’s Chapel, Gallery Road, was
consecrated in 1616 and has continually provided a place of
worship
since then. It is used weekly for parish worship and regularly by the
Foundation
schools: Alleyn’s School, Dulwich College and James
Allen’s Girls’ School.
This
website is a great way to keep up-to-date with what has been going
on around the parish
and it is
also good for finding out about
events and
meetings that are happening this week
and in the near future. Also available to read are articles from both the monthly church
magazine,
the
Barnabas Bulletin and from
the parish magazine,
the villager.
I hope you
enjoy your visit to our website and if you're ever in Dulwich please do
visit us at
St Barnabas or
Christ's Chapel. You will be very
welcome.
The Reverend
Canon Dianna Gwilliams
Vicar and Foundation Chaplain
