We have two
places of worship within the Parish.
St
Barnabas was consecrated in 1996,
and is
a beautiful building as was the
Victorian church destroyed by
fire in December 1992.
Many of the schools in the parish have regular services in St Barnabas.
Christ’s Chapel
in Gallery Road, was
consecrated in 1616 and has continually provided
a place of
worship
since then. It is also used for schools services by James Allen's Girls' School,
Alleyn’s School
and Dulwich College.
All Sunday
services in the parish are open to all.
Sunday School meets during the
Parish Communion Service at St Barnabas. This includes a creche
for babies and under 3's.
In addition,
Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer
and Holy Communion take place during
the week
at St Barnabas to which all are welcome. The
Barnabas Chapel is open for private
prayer
from 11.00 to 3.00pm Tuesdays to Fridays when the Parish Office is open
Details of all other worship, including
Marriage Services, Baptisms and Funeral Services
