Sunday School
for children aged 0 to 12 meets during the 10.00am Parish Communion Service.
The programme roughly follows the academic year and the classes also
follow the academic pattern. This enables the learning needs of
the children to be addressed most effectively and for them to enjoy what
they do. As with weekday school it is a great help if the children are
settled into their class before the lessons begin so that all members of
the class can engage with the lesson. All members of Sunday School join the rest of the congregation
before we share the Holy Communion.
Crèche
There is a crèche each week for babies and children up to about
three years of age provided to allow parents to leave their children
and join the service. Parents are welcome to spend part of the time
with their children for the purpose of helping them settle in, for a
few weeks if necessary. The space in the crèche is on a first-come,
first-served basis.

Scramblers is the group for you and meets each week.

Climbers meets each week except for the first week in the month.
Years 1 and

Climbers meets each week except for the first Sunday in the month.

Youth Groups

Who said Sunday was a day of rest? This group is for
children in primary school who want to play football and/or rounders
(or indoor games if the weather isn't cooperating) after church.
Parents and carers should ensure that the children wear appropriate
footwear and coats as necessary and that they are collect by 12.30pm For

headspace, 11.30am to 1.00pm
Every second and fourth Sunday
This group is for all young people in Years 10 to 13. We meet
for discussion and cakes, prepare and lead worship, try and go on
retreat once a year and generally get stuck in to life in the church
and parish. We meet in the Vicarage. DATES for the Summer Term
14, 28 April; 12, 26 May; 9, 23 June; 7 OR 14 July
fingerprints, 11.30 to 1.00pm
Every second and fourth Sunday
This group is for all young people in Years 7 to 9. We meet for
discussion, games and cakes in the Barnabas Centre. We go on a camp
once a year and we help out with activities, plan and lead worship -
it's great! DATES for the Summer Term
